EU gives the Shipping Industry an Ultimatum

The EU is prepared to intervene if the Shipping Industry and the International Maritime Organization, IMO, in collaboration do not propose a plan to voluntarily reduce CO2 emissions within the next 2 years. Statement made by an EU spokesperson in Bruxelles on Wednesday.
