Pres-Vac Engineering ApS consolidates its position as a market leader of marine equipment

Allerød, Denmark, February 25, 2010: 

Pres-Vac Engineering ApS today announced that it has acquired Marine Inert Gas Systems (MIGS) A/S.

Marine Inert Gas Systems provides nitrogen generator solutions to the Maritime Industry matching end-users' specific performance requirements using high quality equipment, components, engineering and workmanship.

The acquisition will allow Pres-Vac to propose a full range of products to control the atmosphere within the cargo tank; P/V valves and cargo tank venting systems, nitrogen generators and deep well cargo pumps. For the end-user this means a one stop shop for solutions, equipment and World Wide service.

As part of Pres-Vac, MIGS will supply nitrogen generators for new buildings, retrofits as well as upgrades and renovation of existing nitrogen generators.

The nitrogen generators will be engineered and produced at Pres - Vac's production facility to ensure highest quality and compliance with necessary class requirements.

MIGS A/S CEO Thomas Billeschou-Hansen will transfer to Pres-Vac and will become Business Unit Manager, Marine Inert Gas Systems.
